I confess to be a thief of light. With the use of my camera I manipulate light and time to record events that occur in increments of seconds. In that frozen capsule of time, I hope to capture the essence of an animal’s being, and by looking into its eyes, even fleetingly, gaze into the window of their soul. It is my intent to impart to the viewer the beauty, grace, and intelligence of my subjects, and to obtain a glimpse into the social lives of these magnificent beings that connect us all to this planet. I have always followed the mindset: ”In their world, on their terms,” and I approach all of my subjects with a deep respect and empathy for their space. All of my images are available for purchase.
